When is the best time to get a boiler serviced?
The best time to service a boiler is usually in the summer or early autumn, ready for its peak use in the winter/spring.
The earlier you get it serviced the less likely it is for your boiler to suffer a breakdown when you need it most!
How long does a boiler service take?
We usually take about 1 to 2 hours to perform a boiler service and check over your heating system to make sure everything is running smoothly and efficiently.
In the unfortunate circumstances that we find something faulty, we can usually solve it during the service (we’ll provide you with a quote to approve before we do anything!). If we can’t solve the problem the same day, we’ll endeavour to solve it next day for you.

Boiler Servicing/Repair FAQs
What pressure should my boiler be?
Normally your boiler should be between 1 & 2 bar, it will fluctuate when it is use though. The exact pressure will vary from boiler to boiler. If you’re concerned about your boiler pressure give us a call or use the contact form below.
How often should I service my boiler?
We recommend annual servicing for boilers and central heating systems. This not only helps keep the boiler in tip-top shape and prevents any breakdowns, but it is extremely important to identify any potential gas leaks or carbon monoxide leaks.
How much does a boiler service cost?
We charge a flat fee of £80 for a boiler service.
What does a boiler service include?
A boiler service includes checking for any worn/damaged parts, making sure the boiler is running efficiently, bleeding the radiators and checking pressure levels. We also perform a clean up on the internal elements in the boiler. We also check the safety parts of the boiler to ensure you are not just warm, but safe in your home.
